Green Coffee – An Excellent Weight Loss Supplement

Green coffee has in recent months become one of the most popular natural products for weight loss.

It is not a new fictional “hit” of modern industry for weight loss, since it has been used as a beverage and a remedy since ancient times.

Some peoples in ancient times used green coffee beverages to increase their energy levels.

In many nations it was one of the most important food products.

The Arabs first started making this precious beverage of green coffee grains.

By the 20th century the healing properties of the green coffee extract became known in the western world.

However, in recent decades, its popularity has been growing, not only as a weight loss agent, but also as a remedy against diabetes and heart disease.

What are green coffee beans?

These are raw unroasted coffee beans, which are a part of an inevitable morning ritual for most of us.

The beans are not roasted, since that process destroys a precious ingredient because of which the green coffee is considered miraculous.

The excellent ingredient to which green coffee owes its popularity is called the GCA. It contains chlorogenic acid and hydrocinnamic acid.

Studies have shown that the ingredients found in GCA help burn fat, even without exercise as a supporting treatment.

These ingredients provide safe weight loss without undesirable fluctuations in weight, or so-called “yo yo effect”.

When the extract of green coffee is ingested, it signals the body to start breaking down fats more intensively.

Also, extract prevents glucose from entering into the bloodstream, so the body does not get the opportunity to store sugar.

Studies on green coffee

In one study, a group of sixteen obese persons took between 750 and 1.050 mg of green coffee extract for twelve weeks.

Measurements after treatment found that the subjects lost an average of 10 percent of their body weight and 4.4 percent of fat.

In order to check the validity of this research, another study was conducted on a group of 100 obese women.

One group received a placebo, and the other capsules containing 400 mg of green coffee extract three times a day.

After two weeks, the women taking the extract of green coffee lost on average one kilogram.

Both groups continued with their usual habits, and the only difference between them was in taking green coffee.

Other medicinal properties of green coffee

Many studies have confirmed that green coffee improves learning ability, as well as the power of reasoning.

It raises mental alertness and enhances concentration. It also helps reduce the number of errors and increases the perception.

Chlorogenic acid from green coffee inhibits enzyme that promotes the formation of glucose in the liver.

Therefore, green coffee helps with glycemic disorders such as diabetes.

Chlorogenic acid has a reputation as a super strong antioxidant, which enhances liver function, improves digestion and improves general functioning of the organism.

It promotes lowering high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels.

In general, all strong antioxidants reduce the risk of cancer and heart disease, including chlorogenic acid.

Is green coffee harmful to health?

Real and quality green coffee is not harmful to health.

In fact, it’s the same coffee you drink every day, but not roasted, and therefore containing more medicinal ingredients.

However, at one point, the market saw the appearance of dubious quality products, that apart from green coffee contained harmful ingredient sibutramine.

These products were removed from the market in 2010 and are no longer commercially available.

“Green Coffee 800” and “Green tea” by American manufacturers “American Leptin Pharmaceuticals Limited” and “Leontina green coffee in bags” by Belgrade manufacturers Elephant CO – Strong Natura contain harmful ingredient sibutramine, due to which they have been removed from the market in Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro.

Practical application

The recommended amount is one capsule of 400-500 mg of green coffee three times a day.

Take green coffee 30 minutes before meals with a glass of water.

Do not take green coffee in the evening, before bedtime, because it has a mildly stimulating effect.

It does not cause unwanted side effects.

We recommend green coffee because, along with a healthy diet and exercise, it can facilitate the process of healthy weight loss.
