Wash your face with coconut oil and baking soda 3 times a week, and this will happen in a month.
In today’s society, there is too much trust being dispensed into the “positive” rhetoric of skin care product companies.
They claim ‘flawless beauty’, ‘fading acne’, and ‘natural beauty,’, yet we purchase these products for ourselves thinking they’ll work. When you examine the label in the back of a facial cleanser, it can be annoying. What do all those terms mean? If you were to ask someone educated on the subject, you would not receive a proper answer because some words are hard to pronounce. Who can admit what these treatments are doing for our facial skin?
The Inside View on What You Are Rubbing On Your Face
The main ingredient in many of these items are phthalates, the main property in plastic, and isn’t on the labels. “The concerns that are focused around this particular chemical have arisen from a series of tests and studies that have been released recently that point to significant potential health concerns,” states Sujatha Jahagirdar, an environmental advocate for Environment California.
With all the unhealthy ingredients, and without proper testing, many of these skin care products are out on store shelves. “There are industry trade secrets and formulations that for industry reasons are kept from the consumer,” says Elizabeth Sword, who is the executive director in the Children’s Health Environmental Coalition.”This prevents the consumer from making fully informed decisions.” There is another way to keep yourself from these scary heath risks, that will help eliminate your skin blemishes simultaneously: creating your own facial scrub.
Coconut Oil for the Skin
This oil has both moisturizing and antimicrobial abilities that are great for washing your face and eliminating acne bacteria. Coconut oil moisturizes the skin and will not make it feel like sandpaper, as most products do. It can also heal anti-inflammatory symptoms from psoriasis, eczema and other various skin conditions.
Baking Soda for the Skin
We all know baking soda is increasingly found in foods, and is a perfect for facial exfoliation. Your skin will have a softer feel after rubbing this scrub on your face. Baking soda also aids relief with sunburns, so this cleanser for your face is a much better choice for anyone who burns easily.
